Yes, the club does have a dress code. We ask that you wear a shirt with a collar. A polo shirt is fine, but please no tee shirts, vests, or nakedness!

Except for special occasions such as our Annual Garden Party and other events, we do not allow children in the club. Sorry!

We ask you not to talk loudly on your phone on the club and strongly encourage you take take your phone calls outside, We have a heated outdoor terrace for all of your important business!

Yes of course! This antiquated policy has been removed, we have many women who enjoy the club.

As a member or guest of a member you can use the car park. Members may also use the car park within reason to park temporarily whilst not using the club. We do monitor the car park situation constantly.

The use of the car park does not extend to friends and family.

Use must display a valid parking permit at all times which will be issued with your membership.

We ask that you hang up your coats and jackets in our cloakroom when using the club and not to leave them on the back of the chair, floor etc. 

We have a great snooker room with 3 professional tables, 2 with pro lights and all with professional balls. We ask that the snooker room is kept tidy and the balls are to be setup for the next player when finished. If it is the end of the night, please cover the tables with the covers provided.

The cost for snooker is £1 per 30 minutes except on Mondays when snooker is free to play. 

We have a comprehensive set of accessories and chalk is available behind the bar.

Membership is currently £45 per year and a discount is applied for senior members, please enquire within the club.

We have 2 'Jackpot' fruit machines in the club that are available to play.

Stakes vary from 10p to £2. 

One machine carries a jackpot of £400 and the other £500

All winnings from the £500 machine are paid via ticket, behind the bar.

No, this is not a requirement of membership.

Yes we have. Its a lovely area with a covered, heated terrace along with benches. Members and guests are very welcome to use the garden.

We ask that any complaints be brought to the committee and not the club stewards. Ask behind the bar for an available committee member. alternatively, email clive.underhill@obesc.co.uk if there isn't a committee member available.

We have a selection of delicious Pizzas as well as the usual selection of crisps and nuts.
